Legality: Jurnal Ilmiah Hukum (LJIH) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal established by the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

LJIH is a journal that aims to publish high-quality research and conceptual analyses in specific fields of law, such as Islamic law, customary/adat law, philosophy of law, fundamental law, legal theory, comparative law, and human rights issues in Southeast Asia. It has one volume with two issues per year (March and September).

LJIH accepted submissions from all over the world. All submitted articles shall be written in English (since 2020), have never been published elsewhere, be original, and not be under consideration for other publications. The LJIH Editorial Board will screen submissions for plagiarism and AI using the Turnitin Program. If it is found that there is plagiarism and an AI indication (above 15%), the editorial board will automatically reject the manuscript immediately. LJIH has been indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar, Crossref, Garuda, and Sinta 1 (SK Nomor 79/E/KPT/2023). LJIH is pleased to announce that we have been accepted into the Scopus database as of March 3, 2023.

If the submitted manuscript does not adhere to the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected before being reviewed by the Editorial Board. The Editor will only accept a manuscript that adheres to the formatting specifications. All submissions must be made through the LJIH OJS system. We accept absolutely no submissions via email. The Editor makes no LoA. LoA is issued solely as an accepted paper notification.

Izdihar : Journal of Arabic Language Teaching, Linguistics, and Literature is an open-access journal in Arabic Education Department. This journal is available for researchers who want to improve knowledge in those particular areas and intend to spread the knowledge as a result of studies. Izdihar is a scientific research journal of Arabic language teaching, linguistics, and literature. It is open to anyone who desires to develop knowledge based on qualified research in any field. Journal of Local Government Issues (LOGOS) ISSN 2620-8091, Online 2620-3812 is the journal of the Department of Government Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, which aims to encourage discussion, sharing, and debate on local government issues including governance, local politics, public policy, public services, elections, e-government, government leadership, urban politics, and other relevant topics. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars from the humanities and social sciences with research interests in poor, developing, and developed countries.

The journal will bring out articles on the issues twice a year around the months of March and September. JPBI (Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi Indonesia), ISSN 2442-3750 (print); ISSN 2527-6204 (online), publishes a scientific papers on the results of the study/research and review of the literature in the sphere of biology education in primary education, secondary education, and higher education. Additionally, this journal also covers the issues on environmental education. This journal collaborates with Himpunan Pendidik dan Peneliti Biologi Indonesia/Association of Indonesian Biology Educators and Researchers (HPPBI) and Konsorsium Pendidikan Biologi Indonesia/Indonesian Biology Education Consortium (KPBI). Editor accepts the article has not been published in other media with the writing format as listed on page manuscript writing guidelines.

JPBI (Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi Indonesia) was established in 2015, published three times a year, on March, July, and November. Started by Volume 3, Number 3, November 2017, the journal was only published by using one language namely English. Starting from Volume 12 Issue 1 March 2026, we are launching a new template with the aim of improving quality and readability. The journal has been indexed in ERIC, EBSCO, DOAJ, BASE, Garuda, Google Scholar, SINTA, ACI, and others.

JPBI (Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi Indonesia), in English is the "Journal of Biological Education Indonesia". The word "Indonesia" does not mean that the article is only written by an author from Indonesia, but it is more meaningful: (1) the journal publisher is from Indonesia and accepts articles from international author(s) from all over the world, and ( 2) the article needs to be related to conditions in Indonesia or countries that have the same conditions so that the article is expected to have implications and contributions to overcome Biology Education problems in Indonesia or possibilities to be applied in Indonesia or can be implemented globally (international impact).

Research and Development in Education (RaDEn) is a scientific journal that aims at publishing research results and review in Research and Development of education in various science fields. Research and Development results can be in classroom-oriented, product-oriented, and system-oriented perspectives implemented in Indonesia and developing countries. This journal also accepts articles related to model implementation, reviews related to efforts to develop the quality of education and learning, and development of the quality of education from elementary school to higher education levels. KEMBARA: Jurnal Keilmuan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya was founded in 2015, published twice a year in April and October. Manuscript submissions are open throughout the year, but before submitting, make sure that the manuscript is in Indonesian and follows the focus and scope and the author's guidelines.

This journal serves as a media for scholars, students, or researchers to express their thoughts.

PROGRESIVA specializes in the study of Islamic Religious Education and seeks to present a variety of the latest and highest quality scientific research results. This journal collaborates with Association of Islamic Education Department Indonesia (Perkumpulan Prodi PAI Indonesia/ PPPAI) and International Conference on Education/ ICEdu.

Jurnal Reviu Akuntansi dan Keuangan (JRAK) is peer reviewed journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in collaboration with Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountant and the Association of Accounting Department of Muhammadiyah Higher Education (APSA PTM). ISSN: 2615-2223 (Online) and 2088-0685 (Print). JRAK is accredited grade 2 by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia Decree (SK) No. 10/E/KPT/2019.

Since the first issued in January 2011, JRAK is publishing scientific articles consistently. Previously, JRAK publishes the new editions every April and October. However, since 2019 JRAK has published editions three times per year in April, August and December. By January 2016, JRAK has published both printed (book) and electronic (PDF) versions. From volume 10 No. 1 to volume 12, No. 1 JRAK uses English articles. However, since volume 12 No. 2, JRAK uses English and Indonesia articles.

JRAK receives rigorous articles that have not been offered for publication elsewhere. JRAK focuses on the issue related to accounting and finance that are relevant for the development of theory and practices in Indonesia and southeast asia especially and also in the world. Jurnal Teknik Industri is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice annually following an open-access policy. This journal is published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. An open-access policy can reduces publishing costs and makes the process of reviewing and edition more agile. Jurnal Teknik Industri defends that open-access publishing fosters the advance of scientific knowledge, making it available to everyone. Jurnal Teknik Industri serves researchers in Industrial Engineering, Production and Manufacturing Engineering, and Management from the perspectives of Production and Manufacturing, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Operations Management, and Operational Research with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region..

Previously this journal was known as Jurnal Media Ekonomi that was initially published in 2000. In 2011 until 2016, this journal was renamed as Ekonomika Bisnis: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pemikiran. JIBE is a generalist; academic review covering all fields of business, management, accounting, and economics. The journal seeks to examine the emerging and state of the art future innovations in business, economics and management made possible by advances in information, communication, and technologies. Notice for Manuscript Submission to JIBE

For the initial submission stage to the Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics (JIBE), authors may submit their manuscript via email to jibe@umm.ac.id using the subject line "Submission Article".

The desk evaluation process typically takes 7–14 working days to determine whether the manuscript will proceed to the peer review stage or be rejected at this preliminary stage.

The review process (from peer review to the final acceptance decision) generally takes 4–9 months, depending on the revisions required and reviewer availability. Once the manuscript is accepted, the timeline from acceptance to publication is usually 2–4 weeks.

Please note that JIBE currently prioritizes quantitative research articles with a strong emphasis on innovation in the fields of business and economics.

Forthcoming articles

Accepted manuscripts that have successfully been peer-reviewed are considered forthcoming articles in the Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics. These articles may undergo a final round of editing and proofreading to comply with the journal's style guidelines and formatting requirements.

As part of our initiative, we prioritize placing accepted manuscripts as forthcoming articles to accelerate their circulation and increase their visibility for earlier exposure and citation. This ensures that the articles can make a prompt and optimal contribution to current topics in the related fields.

Procedia : Studi Kasus dan Intervensi Psikologi (Procedia) merupakan publikasi berkala yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang dan dikelola oleh Program Studi Magister Psikologi Profesi. Procedia bersinergi dengan organisasi profesi Ikatan Psikologi Klinis HIMPSI (IPK-HIMPSI) dan Ikatan Psikologi Perkembangan Indonesia (IPPI) untuk meningkatkan dan memperkaya kajian-kajian di bidang psikologi. Artikel Procedia merupakan artikel hasil penelitian intervensi atau laporan praktik keprofesian psikologi, hasil studi kasus klinis yang dimulai dari diagnosa hingga pemberian treatment/perlakuan berdasar pada kajian keilmuan. Procedia pertama kali terbit tahun 2013 dengan jenis terbitan cetak dua volume dalam satu tahun. Mempertimbangkan masukan dan saran dari para penulis, reviewer dan pembaca, maka mulai tahun 2020 Procedia terbit 4 kali setahun pada Maret, Juni, September dan Desember dalam bentuk elektronik/online. Pengiriman naskah diterima dan dikelola melalui sistem OJS 3.

Procedia Journal of Case Studies and Psychological Interventions (Procedia) is a regular publication published by University of Muhammadiyah Malang and managed by the Master of Professional Psychology Study Program. Procedia synergize with professional organizations Ikatan Psikologi Klinis HIMPSI (IPK-HIMPSI) and Ikatan Psikologi Perkembangan Indonesia (IPPI) to improve and enrich studies in the field of psychology. Procedia was first published in 2013 with a two-volume print publication in one year. Taking into account input and suggestions from authors, reviewers and readers, starting in 2020 Procedia is published 4 times a year in March, June, September and December in electronic/online form. Procedia articles are articles intervention research results or psychology practice reports. Manuscript submissions are received and managed through the OJS 3 system.

Journal of Community Service and Empowerment is a peer-reviewed journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia. It is in the national and international level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services, development, strengthening, and empowerment.

This journal accepts articles on research results in the fields of development, empowerment, and community strengthening and the results of activities or practical implementations of community service, empowerment, or strengthening that are problem-solving, comprehensive, meaningful, and sustainable, with clear goals. Various community service and empowerment activities must have novelty (have innovation and creativity) so that they do not just replicate the same activities in different places, have measurable results and impacts on society, and support the achievement of the goals set forth in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDGs are a global action plan agreed by world leaders, to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the environment. The SDGs contain 17 Goals and 169 Targets, so that each article must be linked to these goals and targets (as stated in the contribution statement). Therefore, the Journal of Community Service and Empowerment accepts the articles from Indonesian authors and other countries that have not been offered for publication elsewhere.

The first issued in April 2020, the Journal of Community Service and Empowerment publishes the new editions three times per year. Journal of Community Service and Empowerment has published both printed (book) and electronic (PDF) versions.

The Jurnal Keperawatan aims to provide a forum exchange and an interface between researchers and practitioners in any nursing-related field. Celtic: A Journal of Culture, English Language Teaching, Literature and Linguistics is a peer-reviewed academic journal managed by the English Language Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Mainly publishes research articles in the area of English Language Teaching and Linguistics, Celtic Journal is published biannually, on June and December. Submissions of the manuscript are open all year long: manuscripts submitted on December-May will be allocated for June Edition, and manuscripts submitted on June-November will be allocated for December Edition.

Article Processing Charge (APC) is IDR 1.200.000,-.

Celtic has been indexed in DOAJ, SINTA (Sinta 3), Google Scholar, BASE, Crossref, Dimension, ROAD, and Harvard Library.

Celtic first published its Volume 1, No 1 in June 2014. However, Celtic was vacuum for 2 years (2016-2017) for Volume 3 No 2, Volume 4 No 1 & 2. and Volume 5 No 1. Celtic then resumed active publication from December 2018 for Volume 5 No 2, equipped with online ISSN.

Starting from June 2020 edition (Volume 7 No 1), Celtic changed its template in order to better facilitate easy reading for both readers and potential authors.

Previously using email, starting from 2019, Celtic operates using full Online Journal System (OJS).

JEMMME (Journal of Energy, Mechanical, Material, and Manufacturing Engineering) is published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Currently, the journal is registered with ISSN 2548-4281 (online) and 2541-6332 (print) on LIPI (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia), also known as The Indonesian Institute of Sciences. The journal is a scientific journal focusing on Energy, Mechanical, Material, and Manufacturing topics. It provides a publishing platform for scientists and academicians to share, publish, and discuss all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

The first issue of this journal was published in late 2016. Published twice a year in May and December, this journal conducts a double-blind peer-review process for each manuscript. Evaluation of the manuscript is by anonymous referees. Therefore, future authors are required to submit the original, relevant research results in the form of an article, which is written in English.

For indexing, JEMMME (Journal of Energy Mechanical, Material, and Manufacturing Engineering) can be browsed online on Google Scholar, BASE, Onesearch, Garuda, and others. Since the fifth issue, on December 5^th, 2018, this journal has been indexed by DOAJ.

JEMMME (Journal of Energy Mechanical, Material, and Manufacturing Engineering) is in the third grade (Sinta 3) of National Accreditation by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. It is contained in decree No. 5162/E4/AK.04/2021.

The Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang published Manajemen Bisnis (MB) journal in 2011. Start in December 2018, the MB journal has online ISSN 2655-2523 for articles that publish started from Volume 9 No. 1, April 2019. Then, start from Volume 9 No. 2. MB journal has been accredited for SINTA 4.

Janayu is peer reviewed journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang in collaboration with Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountan. It Is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services.

The first issued in March 2020, Janayu is publishing result of Community Service Activities two times a year. In 2023, Janayu published three times a year. Since 2025, many good quality articles have been submitted in Janayu. Therefore, Janayu changes the number of issues in one year, from 3 issues per year to 4 issues per year. Janayu receives rigorous articles that have not been offered for publication elsewhere. Janayu focuses on the issue related to social humaniora that are relevant for the development of theory and practices in Indonesia and southeast asia especially and also in the world. Jurnal Pendidikan Profesi Guru, 2723-0066 (e-ISSN), 2746-2455 (p-ISSN), is publishing a scientific paper based on the research results and literature review in the developing teacher professionals studies either in early childhood education, primary education, or secondary education. Moreover, we are open to publishing articles on various educational issues related to enhancing education quality by natural science, social science, technology, and arts teachers.

Jurnal Pendidikan Profesi Guru was published in 2020 with three yearly issues. Each issue consisted of seven articles even though since Volume 2 Number 3 (2021) we have published only five articles to ensure publication quality. Our journal is open to publishing articles either in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Jurnal Pendidikan Profesi Guru was indexed by Google Scholar, Garuda, and Dimension.

The primary criterion for publication in the journal is the significance of an article’s contribution to the literature on economic development, i.e., the importance of the gift and the rigor of the analysis and the presentation of the paper. At least two peer-reviewers independently review every submitted paper. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendations and made by the editor. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within two weeks until four weeks.

FTHS publishes the original scientific papers from observational or experimental research not only laboratories based but also field survey. The review papers which will be submitted should focus on the specific methods application rather than result analytical. While the review articles and book must be submitted after consult with the editors. The manuscript should be placed in an international comparative context.

The papers are screened on topic suitability and grammatical quality. Submitted papers will be reviewed by editorial technic (format and linguistic quality) and editorial board (content). The accepted papers will publish in HTML, PDF format, and hardcopy.

Global Local Interactions Journal of International Relations

The Journal of Global-Local Interactions (GLI) Online ISSN 2657-0009 is a publication by the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. The journal's aim is to facilitate discussion, sharing, and debate on relevant topics in the fields of Contemporary Global Security, Foreign Policy Analysis, Geopolitics of Globalization, Global Contemporary Issues, Global Political Economy, International-Domestic (Intermestic) Studies, Network Society, and Paradiplomacy. SINJIE Journal is a scientific journal that focuses on the Quality of teaching and learning in Islamic religious education. It is open to anyone who desires to develop knowledge based on qualified research in any field. Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees by double-blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully within 4 - 12 weeks. JAMEELA (Journal of Multiperspectives on Accounting Literature) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to expanding the traditional boundaries of accounting discourse. The journal challenges mainstream paradigms by positioning accounting not merely as an economic and technical instrument, but as a complex social, cultural, and organizational phenomenon.

JAMEELA is established to address the global literature gap currently dominated by positivist approaches and large-scale corporate financial archival research. The journal provides a platform for scholars to publish innovative, interdisciplinary, and critical research exploring the dimensions of accounting at the intersection of sociology, technology, ecology, and behavioral dynamics. We invite literature that offers fresh perspectives on issues that are persistently under-represented in conventional accounting literature.

Coverage includes, but is not limited to:

Sociology of Accounting Technology: Critical studies on algorithmic accountability, the ethics of artificial intelligence in reporting, professional autonomy in the digital era, and the construction of value in unregulated virtual assets.
Micro-Sustainability and Grassroots Circular Economy: Environmental and social accounting practices beyond multinational corporate entities, including accounting for local ecosystems, grassroots initiatives, cooperatives, and the recognition of non-human entities.
Governance and Behavioral Dynamics: In-depth analysis of informal power networks, elite-political connections in emerging markets, and psychological or behavioral studies shaping boardroom decision-making.
Marginalized Contexts and Alternative Epistemologies: Accountability practices in non-governmental organizations, religious institutions, the informal economy, as well as the deconstruction of global accounting standards through postcolonial and developing-country lenses.

Methodological approaches

JAMEELA strongly encourages methodological diversity, which often lacks sufficient space in mainstream journals. We welcome articles employing qualitative, critical, and interpretive approaches. This includes, but is not limited to: accounting ethnography and netnography, autoethnography, critical discourse analysis, interventionist research, in-depth case studies, and Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR) that offer robust interdisciplinary synthesis. Quantitative approaches offering theoretical novelty through a multidisciplinary lens are also highly considered.

Jurnal Muhammadiyah Studies is a journal that publishes specific scientific articles, research reports and the latest book reviews regarding Muhammadiyah issues. It has one volume with two issues per year (July and November).

Jurnal Muhammadiyah Studies accepts submissions from all over the world.
